I woke to another design this morning from one of our lovely design team members Gail and her designer Sharon, we are so happy to see people are happy with the quality in our chipboard.

This is what Gail told us:
My talented designer Sharon Peters has been playing with your chipboard & has fallen in love with the thickness & the fact that you can use all the chipboard in the pack for her pages including the Molossi symbol.
Sharon has used the Barbed wire frame to feature the photo & used the insert as the title background. I just used inks to colour the chipboard.
I also used Kaisercraft Attitude collection as well as random charms.
Sharon ripped and folded the paper inking the edges to create texture on the page

Ok I know I said only two more shares but I have one more for Cathi I must share (LOL could not help myself) Cathi says

"I used a gorgeous Molossi chipboard butterfly on this layout, painted with teal zircon Silks glaze.

The papers used are Pink Paislee Hope Chest, some corrugated board, and cardstock doilies (Gina's Designs). I used a gorgeous Prima vine, some twine and seam binding.

For techniques I used masking with my distress inks for the background, some gesso on the corrugated cardboard, and stitching."

Jo is also sharing with us tonight her marvelous talents. Have a look at here Scooter page with instructions

Products:            Molossi cogs chipboard, Molossi Scooter Boy & Scooter Girl chipboard pack,
Aussie Scrap Source White cardstock, Teal Co-ordinations cardstock,  Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Broken China & Brushed Coudoroy, Texture Paste, Gelly Roll pens, Dimensional Magic, Tim Holtz cogs dies
Method:              Lay the chipboard cogs over the white cardstock in a diagonal direction from bottom left to top right and apply  texture paste over the whole design.  Pick the chipboard pieces out carefully and set aside for everything to dry.  Once both the cardstock and the removed pieces of chipboard have dried apply the distress inks applying them in a swirling motion using a Distress Tool applicator.  Once the area is covered – wipe off with a baby wipe to reveal the white of the texture paste but leaving the colours of the distress inks in the recessed areas.
Apply the distress inks to the textured cogs and set aside to dry

·        Trim your white sheet to measure 11.5 x 11.5”
·        Cut the centre out of a sheet of teal cardstock
·        Mount the white textured cardstock in the centre of your teal frame.  Use the remaining teal cardstock to matt your photograph and to cut a few extra small cogs using a Timi Holtz die.
·        Colour your scooter boy and girl to match with your photographs.  I have used Sakura Gelly Rolls pens and an American Crafts Chromatix marker to colour the images.

·        I have cut my title from white cardstock using a Pazzle die cutting machine, embossed them using a Couture Creations embossing folder – Replacements  and then inked again using the Tim Holtz Distress inks.  I have added a metal link chain hanging from the “o” in Patrol to imitate the bike chain my son has around his neck.

·        Adhere your chipboard cogs and cardstock cogs  down the page in a diagonal direction allowing the cogs embedded in the texture paste to also be seen.  Mount some up on foam dots and allow some to adhere flat to the cardstock.
·        Adhere your matted photograph using foam dots.
·        Adhere your two chipboard scooter characters – I have placed the boy to the left side of the photograph and the girl to the bottom right of the layout.
·        Journal around the outer edge of the white cardstock.

We are back from Brisbane and we came home to some lovely emails, Cathi's talented is beyond words, here she shows some more of our chipboard pieces. This is what Cathi has to say

Can I say again how much I love the Molossi chipboard that arrives in my DT package each month. Suzanne and Josh do an amazing job choosing stunning chipboard just perfect for the style of layouts I love to do and I appreciate it so much!

This layout features their Decorative Arch -SMALL chipboard. It is so intricate and worked perfectly with this photo of my husband and I getting married under an arch oh so many years ago (could it be... 18 years this July, wow!!) I piled on the flowers over the arch and added some broken jewelry chain and beads and some gorgeous lace I had in my stash. The paper is from Maja Designs Spring Basics.

The beautiful butterflies are from my scrappy friend Lisa Novogrodski's Etsy shop.

The Couture Creations Jasmine Dream die is a perfect leafy flourish die, I love to cut up the stem into pieces to add leafy accents to a cluster.
